My son recently purchased a new shoe rack, and upon inspection (and a few experiments) I too purchased the same shoe rack — but for a different purpose:  a crafting purpose of course!  (Sorry Imelda Marcos!) The shoe rack my son discovered proved to be perfect for storing Cricut cartridges.

The rack has a ledge for the cartridges to rest on ( although they do not get much rest in my house   ), plus all the cartridges are on view allowing me to see all the cartridge labels before I pull them from the rack. This is an improvement over my former rack which made me guess which cartridge was in which pocket — not that this wasn’t fun too!
