When our local Roberts Craft Store closed down a couple of months ago I purchased the Doodlebug Apothecary Chest for 75% off the recommended price. Little did I know how much fun I would have putting it together!
Of course everything was 75% off that day, not just the apothecary chest, so needless to say I was there for some time. When I finally did get out of the store I had to call my husband to meet me with his pickup truck because I couldn’t get everything in my car . Oh the fond memories; that was a good day!
Once home with my stash I found a spot in my craft room for the apothecary chest, but I never got around to customizing the drawers. The instructions said that you could customize each drawer with either paper, fabric or a 5×5 photo.
This week I finally made time to customize the drawers, and not only did I use paper, I also used embellishments for some added fun.

The stack that I used in making the chest was the DCWV Mango Frost Stack.
I made the first set of flowers with the Cricut Flower Shoppe Cartridge, and the other with the McGill Mini Petals Paper Punch.
